Choir presents No Greater Love cantata
Performances both at the Florida and Krugersdorp Methodist Churches.
The Florida Augmented Choir is looking forward to treating Florida residents to their No Greater Love cantata on Sunday 13 April.
The cantata forms part of the Florida Methodist Church’s service on Sunday. No Greater Love, written by John William Peterson, will comprise of various solos, duets, quartets, full choir songs and four-part harmonies (inlcuding descants) and will have a narrator reading in between the performances. The cantata is expected to last 45 minutes of the hour and 15 minute service. No entrance fee will be charged.
“Everyone is welcome to the event and refreshments will be available afterwards,” said Brian Norris.
The service will start at 8.15am on Sunday at the Florida Methodist Church at the corner of Madelein Street and 7th Avenue.
A second performance of the cantata will be held at the Krugersdorp Mehodist Church on Tuesday night 15 April. The church is located at the corner of Burger and Van Breda Streets and the service will start at 7pm.
