Have you noticed that Horizon looks cleaner?
That’s because numerous ward committee members and the community recently got together to clean up the area as part of the A Re Sebetseng (clean-up) campaign.

The clean-up was successful as numerous members of the community came out to support the cause, which was organised by the Ontdekkers Park Blockwatch. People started clean up at 9am, at the Methodist Church on Cutten Street, Horizon.
Ward 84 councillor, Gert Niemand, Ward 71 councillor,Rene Benjamin, Ward 82 councillor, Susan Stewart, Ward 70 councillor, Caleb Finn, and the MMC for Economic Development in the City of Johannesburg, Leah Knott, all came to show their support.
