A number of schools in the Honeydew Policing precinct recently acquired more knowledge and advice about child safety and general social ills.
This happened during a Child Protection Week campaign on 31 May by Toys for Africa, a non-profit organisation that fights for the rights of children, together with the Honeydew Police Social Crime Unit.
The schools impacted included Zandspruit Primary School, Cosmo City Primary School and Cosmo West Primary School.
These visits also included talks from both representatives of the organisation and the police, who offered crime safety tips to the children.
