Domestic worker out of ICU

Community members are being urged to assist Linda by donating a few things.

Linda Nkosi, the domestic worker who was robbed and stabbed in Rebecca Street, Florida, is recovering well in the Helen Joseph Hospital. Linda is said to be out of danger as she was moved from the Intensive Care Unit to a normal ward recently.

During the robbery, she was run over by the car driven by the people who robbed her.

The stab wound allegedly severed her femoral artery and her leg was so mangled by the car that due to both blood loss and the extent of her injuries, she had to undergo emergency surgery during which her leg was amputated.

Community members are being urged to assist Linda by donating the following:

* A pillow

* Blanket

* Toilet paper

* Sleepwear

* Slippers

* Soft drinks and sweets
