Pre-schooler nails prose competition
Leeya impressed the crowd when she performed in front of a sold-out Roodepoort Theatre recently
Maragon Ruimsig Pre-School learner, Leeya Singh, who is only in Grade 0, recently received accolades for winning an English prose competition in the category for children in Grades 0 to 3.
Leeya impressed the crowd when she performed in front of a sold-out Roodepoort Theatre recently.
She was the youngest performer in the junior section, and received a medal and certificate for her achievement. This was a major accomplishment for her.
Leeya’s achievement was followed by a Trinity College London drama exam last month, for which she received a distinction with her score of 88 per cent – a huge achievement for such a young learner.
