A spring fundraiser

Agapeland and Arrows of Destiny Christian Academy celebrated spring by raising money to revamp their playground for all to enjoy.

The school had a sponsored mini walk as well as a raffle the children could enter. There was a competition for the children as they also helped to raise money. On Heritage Day the winners were announced. Christiaan Eloff won the overall prize for raising the most money while Oratile Makola, Mia Thatcher, Gabriel Agbazue, Nonhle Nkomo and Kyra and Luke Naidoo won various other prizes, such as for raising the most money in their class and in the random draw.

“We’ve raised a lot and the school has started to get quotes for the revamp. The children did an amazing job,” Ashley Naidoo, the school administrator said.
