UPDATE: Missing Allen Glen High School girls found alive in Soweto

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Police confirm that the three missing girls have been found but left their homes of their own accord.

The three Grade 9 girls who apparently went missing recently have been discovered alive in a room in Soweto by police.
According to Honeydew Police Station spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan, the three had left home to attend a party but did not return home when expected.
Two of the girls have opened rape cases at the police station. It is also alleged that the girls were drugged while they were away from their homes.
They were originally last seen at their homes in Weltevreden Park on 2 June at 1pm.

Allen Glen High School confirmed their absence from school on Monday 5 June.

Muthan confirmed that the girls were found by a detective in a room in Soweto. Due to the allegations of rape, this is an ongoing investigation.

The names of the girls are being withheld, and their faces and names removed from published articles.
