A catastrophe waiting to happen – that’s what has been an exposed by a video posted by Suburban Control Services showing two electrical pylons that have been stripped of their steel support beams.
The video shows a camera hanging out of a car travelling along Main Reef Road. The car drives straight towards the pylons in a bid to highlight the missing beams.

Theft of steel is suspected and an imminent power outage is predicted.
City Power has indicated that they are aware of this matter.
