Horrible experience left me in tears

Anne Hanggi from Roodepoort writes:

I went to apply for a renewal of my Driver’s Licence in mid-December 2017.

First, I was conned out of R3 000 by the people outside. I then went into the parking lot to ‘meet’ the guy who was supposed to bring me my licence.

I must stress that I only did this because I was hardly able to walk or stand; unbeknown to me I had DVTs and 2018 would leave me mainly bedridden, until I eventually had an entire hip replacement operation in September 2018.

Instead of receiving anything, I was shouted at by a security guard who then proceeded to also con me out of money.

I stayed in the queue, did what I had to do, paid the money I owed, got a temporary licence and never heard another word! To this day I have not heard a word about my licence!

I am 62 years old and, frankly, I am scared to go back there to see what has happened to my licence.

It was a horrible experience and I was in tears.
