A man in his late 50’s succumbed to his injuries after he was apparently stabbed in the chest by his wife in Zandspruit last night, 1 February.
The cause of the tragic incident cannot be established as yet.
According to ER24, their paramedics arrived on the scene just before 10 pm to find government services already trying to save the man’s life.
He’d been taken to a garage on the edge of the town to ensure that help could reach him quickly. He unfortunately succumbed to his wounds and was later declared dead on the scene.
It was reported that police were on the scene for further investigation.
