USO held its first meeting of 2018

The propose of USO is to play a role in socialising, networking, building sportsmanship and improving on academic excellence between the schools.

 

With the purpose of building strong productive relationships between the schools of the West Rand, the United Schools Organisation (USO) held its first meeting of the year in the hall at Hoërskool Die Adelaar on 27 March.

The Grade 12 leaders who attended the meeting came from Hoërskool Die Burger, Hoërskool Die Adelaar, Princess High School, and Florida Park High School.

USO, also known as The United Schools of the West Rand, was founded by the Representative Council of Learners (RCL) of Princess High School in 2016. The propose of USO is to play a role in socialising, networking, building sportsmanship and improving on academic excellence between the schools.

The meeting was chaired by Princess High School’s RCL President, Bonginkosi Tekane, who also invited Public Speaking and Motivational speaker, Dr Nisi Thusi.
