“Every year, right before Easter, our learners create and decorate their own themed Easter hats. Then, on the last day of school, we all put on our fun Easter hats and march around the school singing and clapping. This year was no different and the addition of our Grade 0000, 2- to 3-year-old class, made the parade cuter than ever,” said Adrienne Hadebe from the school.

The little ones had an absolute blast! After the parade, the learners met at the school’s Amphitheatre and heard the Bible story of Easter, how Jesus died and rose again to save His people. Afterwards, it couldn’t get more fun, as the school had an Easter hunt, where little ones had to explore the school looking for the hidden Easter eggs.

“I love Easter because there are lots of nice things, especially like how Jesus died on the cross and Easter eggs and candies and marshmallows,” said Tristan Nel, describing the Easter mood at school.
