At long last Matrix Warehouse picked a winner for their June and July in-store competition, and the Record was invited to meet him.
Jakes Ruhling, the proud winner of an i3 laptop computer courtesy of the Princess Crossing outlet, flashed a big smile when he was awarded his prize.
Matrix Warehouse manager PJ Pretorius explained that the competition was launched at the Princess Crossing and the Westgate outlets.
“We ran the competition for the months of June and July, solely for the benefit of our loyal customers.
“For each R1 000 a customer spent, he was awarded one entry into the competition.”
Ruhling apparently entered several times, raising the likelihood of his later victory.
Matrix Warehouse personnel laughed when Ruhling explained that he doesn’t necessarily need their help to set up his prize of a Packard Bell i3 laptop.
Pretorius mentioned that the next competition could have a brand-new tablet as prize.
