Ruimsig family traumatised by house robbery

Upon arrival the suspects had already made their get away.

A Ruimsig resident made a call to BCI Security control room on Friday 3 January informing them of a house robbery taking place in a neighboring property.

The control room dispatched three response vehicles to the premises and were joined by vehicle from the Honeydew Police.

Upon arrival, the suspects had already made their get away and the family was extremely shocked and traumatised.
ER24 was contacted to come out to the scene and arrived within ten minutes to assist.

The four suspects, all dressed in blue overalls, took a laptop together with other items in the household.
The suspects then fled the scene in a VW Caravelle that was taken from the property.

There were no injuries sustained during the robbery and a case docket has been opened by the police
