Seven injured when taxi and car collide
At least seven people were left injured when two vehicles collided on Beyers Naudé Drive in Randpark Ridge.
A taxi and a car collided during peak traffic on Beyers Naudé at the Oasis intersection above the N1 Western Bypass late yesterday afternoon.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find both vehicles in the road. The occupants had already climbed out, and were found walking around the scene.

According to ER24 spokesperson, Russell Meiring, “Paramedics assessed the patients and found that at least seven had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
“Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for further treatment,” Meiring continued.
He also stated that they understand that a number of other patients were transported before the arrival of paramedics at the scene. Local authorities were on the scene to conduct further investigations.
