Are you the West Rand’s new Super Star?
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, the West Rand Super Stars Singing Competition wants you.
If you enjoy singing and like to show off your talent in the shower or in the car, why not expand your stage with the exciting new singing competition coming to the West Rand?
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 years, the West Rand Super Stars Singing Competition wants you. However, you’d better act fast, as only the first 120 entries will stand a chance to get a spot on stage.
With appearances by Vern (local artist and song writer), Christian Heath (local artist), Matt Stern (master of ceremonies and television personality) and Hekkie Budler (five-time World Boxing Champion), it’ll be hard not to enter.
Winners will receive:
• First place: R30 000 in prizes, social media package worth R20 000 and further cash prize to the value of R5 000
• Second place: R25 000 in prizes
• Third place: R15 000 in prizes
Judging dates are as follows:
• 3 August
• 10 August
• 17 August
• 24 August
• 7 September (Top 20)
• 22 September (Top 10)
• 29 September (Top 5 finals)
During each of the first four judging dates, 30 contestants will perform in front of a panel of judges. The Top 10 and Top 5 (Finals) events will include live shows as well as judges and guest artists. Tickets for these two shows will cost R50 per person, but are free to children under the age of 10.
Judging events and final shows will be held at the Hole in One Boutique Hotel. Entries cost R150 per person and close on Tuesday, 10 July. All entry forms together with proof of payment are to be mailed to admin@sa-sports.co.za. For more information, feel free to contact 072 415 1758.
