This past week Roodepoort Police arrested 26 suspects during special stop-and-search operations.
The suspects aged between 19 and 54 were arrested for various cases – malicious damage to property, intimidation, common assault (domestic violence), fraud, possession of dagga, shoplifting, defeating the ends of justice, possession of suspected stolen property and possession of drugs.

The suspects were charged and detained at the Roodepoort Police Station, and will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
