Bastion’s teams bring glory

Hoërskool Bastion’s rugby first team continued their unbeaten run this pre-season when they beat visitors Hoërskool Dr Malan.

The final score of the match which mark’s Bastions fifth consecutive victory was 15–10. The win will put the team in good spirits heading towards the league which kicks off next term. Hoërskool Bastion was hosting Hoërskool Dr Malan in hockey and netball as well, making the school abuzz with activity.

The senior netball team also did wonders on the court to ignite the passionate home supporters watching on the sidelines. They competed toe-to-toe with their Hoërskool Dr Malan counterparts and outscored them 34–27 to claim victory.

The senior girls hockey team was not to be outdone as they dominated the hockey field against their Hoërskool Dr Malan opponents, working hard for each point. The final score was 5–2.
