Police continue to crack down on drugs

Ongoing drug-related operations conducted by Honeydew police officers have led to the arrest of more suspects who were caught dealing drugs.

Seven suspects, including an 18-year-old, were arrested for dealing in drugs in the Honeydew policing precinct between 31 January and 2 February.

Spokesperson for Honeydew Police Station, Captain Balan Muthan said the arrests come a week after nine suspects were busted with dagga in Honeydew and Zandspruit.

Muthan added that money and dagga were seized, adding that visible policing would continue until the precinct is safe and drug-free.
