17-year old Camilla Chatten, who went missing from her parents’ home on Kiepersol Avenue on 7 December, has been found.
In a Facebook post her stepmother, Jeannette Howe, thanked everyone for spreading the word about Camilla’s disappearance. In this post she also confirmed Camilla was safe.
Shane Chatten, Camilla’s father confirmed that she was back at home. “The family is relieved that she is safe and sound, and we will ensure she receives the help she needs.
She did not come home on her own, but was found where we suspected she might have been the whole time,” he said.
At that stage they were at the Roodepoort Police Station, busy finalising all the details of the case.
