58 suspects were arrested during a stop and search within the proximity of the Roodepoort police station last week Friday (6 November).
The operation was conducted by the members of the police station and the suspects were arrested for various law infringements.
These include assault with grievous bodily harm, common assault, intimidation, theft out of motor vehicle, sexual assault, house breaking and theft and possession of stolen goods.
The suspects were charge and detained at Roodepoort SAPS.
48 of the suspects have already appeared in the Roodepoort magistrate court.
