Marketing Co-ordinator for Marvest Schools Belinda Espag, said the Grade 7 pupils arrived excited for the circus-themed night and were dressed astonishingly well.

Grade 7 pupil Keira Hurlimann said the foyer was decorated beautifully according to the theme.

“There was a mini Ferris wheel, giant popcorn boxes and loads of sweets on display,” said Hurlimann.

She added that before the farewell started everybody was treated with a special performance by two fire dancers.

“The performance was fantastic and the dancers were so well skilled. I was just relieved they did not set the school alight,” said Hurlimann.

She said the DJ also proved to be worth his salt, seeing that the pupils never stopped dancing.

Se said she wants to thank Janedy Saaiman and Charmaine Geyer who were the organisers of the event.
