2800 customers to be affected by planned outage
City Power to cut power again.
In a public notice City Power noted 2800 customers will be affected by a planned power outage on Tuesday 18 August.
“The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our program to provide better service,” the utility stated.
The interruption is scheduled to take place from 10pm on Tuesday 18 August til 6am on Wednesday 19 August, but residents are warned to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.
This is the third in a serious of planned outages in the Roodepoort area in the last month.
Affected areas:
• Bergbron and Bergbron Extensions 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
• Delarey and Delarey Extensions 1 and 2
• Florida Glen and Florida Glen Extensions 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 9 and 10
• Industria North and Industria North Extension 1
• Northcliff Extensions 19 and 20
• Quellerina and Quellerina Extension 1 and
• Whiteridge and Whiteridge Extensions 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11
