Two male suspects broke into the Prince of Thieves pub in Florida Park in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
According to the owner Rita Welgemoed, the two suspects broke in between 2am and 4am. They took a television set, broke open the gambling machines as well as the safe and took money from the till. There were also signs that the suspects wanted to set fire to the gambling area of the pub.
It is believed the two suspects travel on a motorbike and in a dark blue Jetta. She says there has been a spate of similar burglaries in the close vicinity lately.
The Florida police believe they know the suspects but does not have enough prove yet.
