Stolen toilet paper and clothing recovered in Davidsonville

Second haul at same storage facility this year.

JMPD in conjunction with the SAPS has uncovered millions of rands worth of stolen clothing and toilet paper at a storage facility in Davidsonville.

The discovery came after the Metro Police received a tip-off regarding a truck that was hijacked in Eldorado Park recently, says JMPD Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.

When the officers broke open the doors of the storage facility on Saturday morning (6 September) they discovered the clothing from Mr Price and a variety of toilet paper brands. It is the second time this year that stolen goods were discovered at the same storage facility. In January an estimated R10 million’s worth of stolen goods were discovered there in a joint operation by JMPD and SAPS.

No one has been arrested yet in connection with Saturday’s haul.
