A bigger and better Silverstar Casino
RUIMSIG - As the developments at Silverstar Casino are nearing completion, we see what to expect come September.
With the current multi-million development upgrade taking place at Silverstar Casino in Ruimsig, communications manager of the casino Nelda Steyn says this is not just a renovation, but a development that will add a host of family entertainment facilities to the complex, to transform it into a world-class entertainment destination.
“Come September, families will be able to experience brand new offerings including a cinema complex boasting the latest 3D technology; a children’s entertainment area with the latest arcade games, a 12-lane bowling alley and laser-tag games; six new restaurants and a 2 600-seater dome that will host expos and shows,”Steyn revealed.
She added that the development will also bring new restaurants at the casino, not revealing much but one new additional restaurant.
“Publicity is an exciting new brew pub restaurant that is coming to Silverstar. This unique family dining spot is built over two levels and consists of a beer garden with craft beer and an outdoor family venue.”
Steyn says the restaurant sports an industrial look with a brewery atmosphere and one-man bands will be performing live to keep guests entertained.
Sports fans can look forward to a state-of-the-art high definition screen that will be showing major sporting events.
“The screen measures over 10m wide by over 5m high with a total surface size of 62sq m and is located at the bottom of the outdoor square with seating for over 1 000 spectators. This lively arena will become one of the social hubs of the new-look Silverstar,” said Steyn.
She adds that Silverstar still has something for everyone while the development is underway.
