Sasol Banyana Banyana head coach Vera Pauw says he is looking for a complete offensive and defensive display from her team when they play Botswana on Saturday.
“We are looking forward to this match and we can’t wait for tomorrow where we will go full strength at our opponents,” said Pauw.
“Unfortunately we have only one injury, defender Amanda Sister failed to recover from her groin injury, but the rest of the players are fit and raring to go.
“Tonight I will announce the 21 players who will form part of the playing squad from the 26 that we have.”
Pauw added that her underlining ambition was to see a strong display of team work on the field.
“What I would like us to see against Botswana is that we are in full control of the match both defensively and in attack,” added the coach.
“By that I mean I want to see teamwork, all the players working for each other all over the pitch and I believe if we can get that right we will emerge victorious.”
