Van Duuren selected Diva Fitness Model 2013
Antonette wins the Diva Fitness competition.
Have you ever heard of a bodybuilding chartered accountant? Multitasking chartered accountant Antonette van Duuren recently participated in the World Beauty Fitness and Fashion (WBFF) South Africa Diva Fitness Model competition where she made it to first position and obtained her pro bodybuilding card.
Not only is she the first female South African to win in her division, she also was given the opportunity to represent her community in Las Vegas in a competition against 50 of the world’s top diva fitness models.
Although she didn’t win, Antonette has become an idol and a role model to young people who aspire to pursue their passion in the corporate field as well as in the sports and entertainment industry.
Proud Dominic Nel (Business Development) told the Record that this bodybuilding programme encourages fitness and a healthy lifestyle. He added that Antonette used to dance for the Lions. It seems as if she always has been a jack of all traits.
