Pedestrian dies after truck knocks him over
"He was pulled underneath the truck" – ER24.
A man in his 20s had died after a truck ran him over at an intersection early on Monday morning 1 July.
According to ER24s Vanessa Jackson, “The man was trying to cross the road at the intersection of Kathleen and Hebbard Streets.
“When paramedics arrived they found the man underneath the truck.
“Sadly there was nothing that paramedics could do to save his life.
“He was declared dead on scene.
“Police will investigate the details surrounding the events leading up to the fatal accident”.
