Good deeds by the Muldersdrift community
The community is encouraged to help Pretty feed these little ones.
Pretty Vilakazi who runs the Moghau Nursery School in the Video informal settlement in Muldersdrift, is asking for urgent assistance by everybody in the Muldersdrift community.
Every day the good-hearted Pretty and her staff, all of whom have very little themselves, perform miracles by feeding every child (around 100) a solid meal.
For some of these children this is the only meal they receive each day. During the Covid-19 shutdown with no school, at least 40 children still need to be fed each day, or they will go hungry.
The community is encouraged to help Pretty feed these little ones.
For any information, the community is advised to contact Shenan Cochrane on 083 510 4745. She is assisting Pretty with the drive to keep the children fed.
“We will try and do everything in our power to assist Pretty with feeding the children. These kids come from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Video squatter camp. A big thank you to Jeremy Mansfield of Hot 91.9FM who donated R2 000 to the good cause,” said Shenan.
In November 2018, Jeremy came out of retirement to join his long-time partner in crime, Sam Cowen, on Hot 91.9FM as host of Hot’s all-new breakfast show, Mansfield in the Morning.
