EARTH Centre to host drumming fundraiser

The idea is to celebrate the important service the centre renders to the community in the form of equine therapy for disabled children.

Ever wished you could learn to create rhythmic sounds on a drum in the company of eager and fun people?

Well, look no further because it’s that time of year when The EARTH Centre hosts a fascinating drumming event as a fundraiser.

The idea is to celebrate the important service the centre renders to the community in the form of equine therapy for disabled children.

If you are keen, join them for sundowners on Saturday, 7 March with a special guest performance by singer Tracey Mathews and friends, followed by an energising drum circle around the fire, and fun for the whole family.

Tickets range from R160 per adult, and R130 for pensioners and children below the age of 13. This package includes the use of the drum. However, if you bring your own, you will get R20 discount.

The event will include a raffle for R10 per entry, and the lucky winner is expected to win a drum, courtesy of the Harmonics, the event coordinators.

If you can’t join them, you are welcome to sponsor a ticket and meal for a less fortunate person for only R220.
