A Fundraising Golf Day that will benefit the Lukas Etsebeth Trust will be held at the Eagle Canyon Golf Estate on 7 May 2020.
Five-year-old Lukas Etsebeth was born as a normal, healthy baby but at the age of four months his medical problems started, among them a brain bleed and several other complications.
According to some of the best specialists, Luka’s case is ‘interesting’ and a challenge to diagnose. Further tests need to be done to make a proper diagnosis.
The latest MRI scans showed that a tumour on his vertebrae did not pose any danger, however it was found that his small brain never developed.
Lukas chokes easily during feeding, therefore he cannot feed himself.
The golf day will comprise a better ball two score to count format, and the community is encouraged to enter at R3 000 per four-ball.
The entry fee includes a contribution to the Lukas Etsebeth Trust, green fees, shared golf cart, celebrity MC, prize-giving and dinner, auction items, raffles and more.
The dinner is will cost R200 per person and everybody who will be attending is encouraged to invite their partner to join in the fun as memorabilia will be auctioned off at the benefit dinner.
Companies can sponsor a water hole at R4 000 (only six available), vehicle partner at R5 000 and a general hole at R2 500.
Additional sponsorships and donations will be specified by the donors. Every contribution counts and will be greatly appreciated.
