Florida Water Polo to host Big Fellas
Family fun and entertainment will be provided on the day, so the community is encouraged to bring their families to enjoy a day of water polo.
Florida Water Polo Club will be hosting its Big Fellas Tournament at Allen Glen High School swimming pool on Saturday, 8 February.
It is the biggest third and fourth league tournament in Gauteng club water polo, and will be a full day of water polo with teams of eight and of 13 players respectively participating.
The Big Fellas Tournament, organised by the club, has rules that were created to benefit the unfit and emphasise that it’s not about how good you are, but rather how ‘BIG’ you are.
Family fun and entertainment will be provided on the day, so the community is encouraged to bring their families to enjoy a day of water polo.
Food and drinks will also be available at the venue. The club is community-orientated with high morals, aimed at developing players as well as creating a sense of family and community.
With numerous years of competitive polo in the form of tours around the country, the club was proud to be placed fifth nationally in the Masters tournaments A-division in 2019.
