West side market to kick-start in February
The market was launched on 28 January 2018 by local small business who are also the organizers of Cedar tree craft market @ Khosa sports club in Krugersdorp.
West Side Craft & Food Market will be hosting its first market of the year on 23 February at Ramkiki Country Restaurant in Ruimsig.
The market was launched on 28 January 2018 by local small businesses who are also the organisers of Cedar Tree Craft Market at Khosa Sports Club in Krugersdorp.
Exhibitors, stall-holders and vendors from the West Rand and surrounding areas, such as Pretoria, Centurion, Fochville and Brits, to mention a few, are given the opportunity to display and sell their high-quality and unique products once a month.
With an average of about 65 stalls selling a wide variety of handmade and other products in the past two years, the market is starting to settle its roots as a regular event on the calendars of its followers.
“They have created a culture of families going out in the fresh air and supporting entrepreneurs while spending quality time together; and for that I thank them,” said Jacques van Schoor who never misses a market.
The 23 February West Side Craft & Food Market will be from 10am to 3pm. Entrance to the market is free and dogs (on leashes) are welcome.
Market co-organiser Chanelle Visser said, “You can expect our wide variety of loved exhibitors as well as many new faces on that day. Come and enjoy delicious food and drink, with live entertainment by artist Ben-Piet van Zyl.”
