Appeal for donation to help fire victims

The family is in need of household necessities such as food, blankets, bedding and toiletries.

BCI Security has put out a desperate appeal for donations for a family of four that lost everything after their home was gutted by a disastrous inferno on the night of Tuesday, 13 November.

A massive fire on a property in the Honeydew area was reported, resulting in emergency services rallying to the scene to try and contain the blaze. The cause is unknown at this stage.

However, according to the director of BCI, Corinda Loots, the family lost everything, driving the idea to appeal for donations.

The family is in need of household necessities such as food, blankets, bedding and toiletries.

For clothing donations, the sons aged 13 and 14 wear 13 to 14yr clothing and size 5 in shoes; the father wears 38 to 40 pants, XL for shirts and the mother wears medium (32 to 34).

Drop-offs can be made at BCI Security headquarters at 773 Augrabies Ave, Little Falls, Roodepoort.
