Fallen heroes to be honoured
The Fallen Hero’s convoy will start at Clearwater Mall at 10am, and proceed to Cradlestone Mall.
If you come across a convoy of various public and private law enforcement vehicles flashing lights on Hendrik Potgieter Road on Thursday, 17 October, the purpose of it is to pay tribute to fallen heroes.
The Fallen Hero’s convoy will start at Clearwater Mall at 10am, and proceed to Cradlestone Mall.
“This will be done in memory of all the officers who have recently lost their lives in the line of duty,” said Rudi Holtzhausen, BCI Security’s operations manager.
“Officers in the form of security guards, reaction officers and tactical officers, JMPD, members of the Police force, CPF and EMS are almost always in the front line of crime situations and often pay with their lives to protect our clients and the public.”
“Please join us in honouring our fallen colleagues and heroes and let’s make a statement and show criminals we can and will stand as one,” he encouraged.
There will be a sponsored banner in their honour which will be signed by everyone involved to show their support.
