Learner becomes top hockey player

Leah McKessar, a learner at The King’s School West Rand, has earned bragging rights after achieving an award for being a top player.

This passionate Grade 4 hockey player was recently awarded the Hockey Player of the Year by the Khosa Club, a sports and social club based in Krugersdorp.

The young girl received the second-highest score for her skills test to win this awesome title.

Her school has applauded her for the outstanding achievement.
