Business networking in Strubens Valley

Networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their businesses in a 60-second elevator pitch.

Hirsch’s Strubens Valley recently hosted their monthly business network meeting with Lucinda Harman, Toastmaster, PWC coach, VIP contributor to Thrive Global and a seasoned sales hunter by day.

Lucinda spoke about the heart of sales and how to have the right approach, sometimes a sensitive and difficult matter.

Lucinda said, “Sales can sometimes bring out fear and anxiety in people. It is of the utmost importance to build a personal relationship with potential buyers – not just focusing on the sales but listening to them and their individual needs. People buy from people they trust.”

Networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their businesses in a 60-second elevator pitch.

“When you have a passion for what you do, people see that and are more prone to trust and support you,” added Lucinda.

The meeting concluded with a lucky draw, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying refreshments.
