BCI Security’s super fan spoiled splendidly
Kateka got out of the vehicle with a mile long smile and greeted the BCI Security staff with excitement that could not be contained.
While most children wouldn’t hesitate to name their dads or moms, or even comic characters such as Superman, Spider-Man or Batman as their super-hero, seven-year-old Kateka Mongwane had quite a unique answer.
When asked, “Who is your super-hero?”, the young Kateka proudly said, “BCI Security”, because he wishes to become a crime fighter like them.

The youngster even painted the letters BCI on his forehead.
When the company heard of their number one fan, they decided to make his dream come true.
With the permission of his parents, the Trinityhouse Little Falls learner was set up for a surprise visit by two fully marked BCI Security vehicles and a fully marked ER24 vehicle that waited for him at Honeypot School.
Kateka got out of his parents’ car with a mile-long smile and greeted the BCI Security staff with an excitement that could not be contained.
The company presented Kateka with his own BCI K9 Kidz shirt and BCI cap before taking him in a marked vehicle on a patrol of Little Falls.
Once the patrol was done, they demonstrated some search and arrest techniques, which he enjoyed thoroughly.
