Young rider makes it to national team

She bagged the following prizes: fourth for Dressage A and second for Dressage B; eighth for Working Riding; sixth for Performance Riding and In-Hand, which her parents and school are proud of.

 

Thirteen-year-old Jenna Wright, a young and promising equestrian, keeps making those around her proud when it comes to the sport.

This Agape Christian School Grade 7 learner recently earned an opportunity to be part of the national team to perform in various disciplines (Dressage A and B, Working Riding, Performance Riding and In-Hand) in which she excelled during the recent South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA) regionals.

At the regionals, representing Gauteng West, she bagged the following prizes: fourth for Dressage A and second for Dressage B; eighth for Working Riding; and sixth for Performance Riding and In-Hand, which made her parents and school extremely proud of her.

Her next competition is from 24 to 28 September, and her school wishes her all the best.
