WATCH: CAUTION! Avoid Nic Diederichs Road due to taxi explosion

Motorists are advised to avoid Nic Diederichs Road going towards Florin and Vintage Roads in Wilgeheuwel due to a taxi that burst into flames this evening, Tuesday, 6 August.

According to BCI Security’s operations manager, Rudi Holtzhausen, who is at the scene with other security services, they have closed the road for traffic due to the taxi that exploded.

The cause of the fire has not been established, and no injuries were reported at this stage.
