ProTouch is super proud of their cyclists

ProTouch’s next stop is Europe, Poland and Portugal, and the team will be announced this week.

ProTouch Cycling keeps displaying that it has the recipe to build champions and is super proud of their two young guns who competed at the SA Junior & Youth National Championships in Camperdown, KwaZulu-Natal this past weekend.

Tiano Da Silva won the Individual Time Trial on Saturday 22 June and the Junior Road title on Sunday 23 June.

Dian Janjetich showed that he is a force to be reckoned with. The first-year junior rider rode across to a breakaway more than 1:20 ahead of the chasing group, and then remained in the break solo for more than three laps, finishing off in 15th position.

ProTouch is proud of the Continental Team with 28-year-old Clint Hendricks taking the win in the Elite men’s 116 km race, and James Fourie taking fourth place with teammates Reynard Butler, Mitch Eliot and Rocco King all finishing in the bunch in bad weather conditions during the Knysna Cycle Tour on Sunday 23 June.

Clint, the first-time winner of the Elite men’s race, said it was a cold start but not too early, describing the race as “pretty aggressive” with lots of great riders and pro cycling teams supporting it.

His winning time was 2:56:10, beating Nolan Hoffman (Team Enza) (2:57:26) and Rainhardt Marais (Alpha Bodyworks) who was a split second behind Nolan.

ProTouch’s next stop is Europe, Poland and Portugal, and the team will be announced this week.
