More about the Welties’ clean-up

Paula communicated that volunteers should meet at the green area next to the Mc Donald’s fence at Town Square at 8am, with the clean-up taking place from then until 10am.

A Weltevreden Community Group representative, Paula Potgieter, has provided the nitty-gritty details about the upcoming community clean-up on Saturday, 15 June.

Local businesses, Residents’ Associations and residents are expected to roll up their sleeves and clean up the areas that have become an eye-sore because of the dreary landscape of litter between Hendrik Potgieter Road and Albert Street especially when travelling from Town Square towards to Panorama Primary School and some of the streets crossing Albert Street.

The initiative is set to be supported by BCI Security, West Rand Reaction and proactive members of the community.

She said anyone willing to help in any way can contact her on 072 622 7078.
