Workshop on fascia release through therapeutic horse-riding
Come and learn about the anatomy of fascia.
The EARTH Centre invites you to join their Equine Fascia Trauma Release Workshop.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on 15 and 16 June from 9am to 5pm at the South African Riding for the Disabled Association EARTH Centre at 125 Peter Road in Ruimsig.
Attendees will learn about the anatomy of fascia, how it affects the musculature and how one can facilitate healing by manually unlocking blockages and areas of stuck fascial tissue. The attendees will also learn how to correct their own patterns of compensation to avoid repeat patterns in their horses.
Muscle activation is a key part of the course as it will teach riders to activate their core and gluteal muscles instantly, therefore putting less strain on the horse.
