Motorcyclist seriously injured during weekend collision

A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a collision with a light motor vehicle between Hendrik Potgieter Road and Albert Street in Weltevreden Park during this past weekend.

Netcare 911 responded to the scene on Saturday, at 6.22pm. Their paramedics assessed the scene and found that the motorcyclist had sustained serious injuries.

“The patient was treated on scene and once stabilised was transported by Netcare 911 ambulance under the care of an Emergency Care Practitioner to hospital for further treatment,” stated the Netcare 911 Facebook post.
