Kiddies hunt for (DA) eggs

After the hunt for eggs and play time around the park, the kiddies congregated near the judges’ table where the winners were announced.

The kids had the time of their lives when the DA in Ward 97 hosted a fun Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, 14 April.

The Wilgeheuwel Extreme Park, which hosted this first installment of the fun morning, saw little ones put their creativity to the test, as they were given an opportunity to decorate eggs on paper and present their efforts to a panel of judges made up of the party’s prominent leaders such as John Moodey and Kate Lorimer and the ward’s councillors, Leah Knott and Ralf Bittkau.

Siblings Matthew and Annie Cordier walked away with a bag of goodies after scooping first prize for their drawings on the day. The runners-up also received prizes for their work.
