Panorama’s U/19s and U/15s continue good form

All of The Undertakers managed to avoid defeat for the first time this season.

Panorama Football Club’s (The Undertakers) U/13 and U/17 teams registered their first points of the season while the U/15 and U/19 teams each earned their second consecutive victory on Saturday, 13 April.

The Undertakers took on Shumba Football Development at home at Panorama Football Club, after the previous week’s matches had to be cancelled due to unplayable conditions caused by rain. The U/13s were first up on the A-field, hoping to recover from losses against Highlands Park and Wits Juniors. They seemed a much better outfit on the day, as they created numerous chances, but were only able to force a 1-all draw.

Next up were the U/19s, who were coming off the back of a positive performance against Wits Juniors. They managed to continue their good form by winning their game 5–1, thanks to an impressive display from the boys.

The U/15s continued The Undertakers’ good fortune, and once again proved why they are a force to be reckoned with this season. Continuing their outstanding form, they chalked up a strong 3–1 win, to stay in the Top 3 on the log.

Finally came the U/17s, who were also looking to earn their first points of the season after two defeats. They were able to do just that, achieving a 1-all draw with the resilient Shumba outfit.

Panorama’s U/13s and U/17s have had rocky starts to the season, with the U/13s losing both opening fixtures, and drawing one (against Shumba), while the U/17s have lost one and drawn two of their matches.

The U/15 and U/19 teams have seen some better results however. The U/15 side has yet to lose a game, as they drew their first game against Highlands Park, beat Wits Juniors thereafter, and have now beaten Shumba. The U/19s were the victims of a ruthless Highlands Park performance in the first game of the season, but have recovered well by winning their fixtures against Wits Juniors and Shumba.
