Term ended with a fun splash

Adding to the fun, the learners also put a smile on their principal’s face when they threw her a surprise birthday party.

Welridge Academy’s learners concluded the first term with a ‘splash’ on 15 March.

The school held its annual Splash Day, which saw the school’s open area packed with various inflatable toys such as jumping castles and slippery slides.

The learners enjoyed the day jumping up and down, going down the slip and slides and boat obstacle courses while dancing, splashing and sharing the beginning of the holidays with their peers.

Adding to the fun, the learners threw their principal a surprise birthday party, and put a big smile on her face.

Various sponsors, such as Pizza Hut who provided pizza, and entertained the children with their mascot and face painting, and Tinkies for introducing their new products, were thanked for treating the learners.
