BCI Security has vowed to continue tackling drug dealing in their footprint following a successful disruptive operation last week.
On Friday, 8 March, various units of the company and the Police’s West Rand K9 unit conducted a search of the hawkers on Fredenharry Road in Strubens Valley.

According to the security company, the area opposite a popular franchise is a hotbed for drug dealing, with dealers openly dealing in various drugs.
“With various cameras positioned around that area, we monitor the activities closely, including the vehicles that stop to buy drugs from these hawkers. The information that has been collated has been passed on for further investigation,” said Gary Jordaan, BCI’s media liaison officer.

When the search was conducted, several packages of narcotics were recovered. All units involved were thanked for their contribution.
“As the most proactive security company in the area, we pride ourselves on our continuous contribution to making the area we serve safe for our residents,” Jordaan concluded.
