Welridge Wolves ready for action

The sport was introduced to the school towards the end of last year and has had learners practising since October.

 

Months of practice will finally be put to the test by the newly established Welridge Academy cheerleading team.

Dubbed the Welridge Wolves, this team, consisting of learners from Grades 1 to 7, between the ages of six and 13, will be competing for the first time ever in the 2019 competition season.

The sport was introduced to the school towards the end of last year and has had learners practising since October, and according to the school’s administration officer, Crystal Hydes, the cheerleaders are ready to shine and give it all they have this year.
